I spent a whole summer making my way through Ulysses, and still had to read the Cliff’s notes to figure out what the heck was going on….but the idea of turning books in to pie charts makes me pretty happy:

I have had Ulysses on my bookshelf for decades, never finished. Congratulations for wading through it. Was it enjoyable? Was it understandable with the assistance of Cliff Notes?
Similarly, there is a A Skeleton Key to Finnegan's Wake. But who needs all that when we have the song, as done by Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem?
Maybe I'll need to get rip-roaringly drunk to wade through these Joycean works. Reading at an Irish wake, as it were.
